Cute as cute can be. Late 70's or early 80's silky polyester dress. Made by "Anne Stooke". Vintage size 10, to fit bust 80 cm (31 (1/4 inches), waist 60 cm (23 1?2 inches), hips 85 cm (33 1/4 inches). The centre back length is 108 cm (42 1/2 inches). Elastic waist, belt loops, although the belt is missing, cute sailor collar. Sleeves gathered onto a band. Flag print on the skirt. In excellent vintage condition.

This is a cutie. Polyester jersey in a lovely cream or winter white. The fabric is softly permanent pleated.Easy to wear stretchy dress with an elastic waist hidden under an overbodice. Tue belt at the waist, which is under the over-bodice, but the ends of the ties peep out. Deep v-neck. The dress has a lot of stretch. The measurements are, bust at underarms (unstretched ) 106 cm (41 1/2 inches), waist (unstretched 62 cm (24 inches) but will stretch to 100 cm (39 inches), hips, free, length from back of neck to hem 122 cm (48 inches).
I can't find any faults with this great 70's dress

60's sweater girl. A candy pink acrylic jumper made in New Zealand by Olympia knitwear. The number 10 is written on the label in pen. The v-neck has a scalloped edging at both edges of the band. The full sleeves are a lace pattern and are gathered onto cuffs which are edged the same way as the neckline. The bottom band is ribbing. The bust measurement of the jumper, taken at the underarms is 82 cm (32 inches) unstretched. The centre back length is 51 cm (20 inches). In excellent condition, looks barely worn.

New with tag 70's evening gown from "Silver Star" of Sydney. The fabric is a synthetic which looks like raw shot silk on the right side, and is a chartreuse color and satiny on the wrong side.
The bodice is fitted and has a round neckline, The sleeves are long, with ruffles at the wrists. There is a self fabric belt which fastens at the back with a snap fastener and hooks and loops. The skirt is quilted and the hem is trimmed with a ruffle. The rear closure is a nylon zipper and a hook and loop at the neckline. 
The original size is a 16, the actual measurements are 37 inches (95 cm) around the bust at the underarms. 30 inches(76 cm) around the waist. 14 1/2 inches (37 cm) from the top  centre back to the waistline. 53 inches (134 cm) from back neck to hem.
No faults to find except that the belt has become unstitched from the garment on one side.

A classic 60's perma-pleated cotton poplin skirt in a  chocolate brown color. The waistband is to fit a 27 1/2 inch (70 cm) waist. The angth is 25 1/2 inches (65 cm). There is a self fabric belt which is backed with black vinyl, It has a goldtone buckle and at the other end a piece of firm vinyl with 2 holes for size adjustment. This piece of vinyl is cracked on either side osf the smallest hole. The belt fits through 4 fabric belt loops.There is a zip and button closure at the top of the side seam. The perma pleats are topstitched  at the top below the waistand with cream thread. This great 60's skirt is in excellent condition, with a couple of small faults, the belt as mentioned, a little iron shine at the bottom end of the zip closure, and the hemstitching (original) is visible - paler colored thread than the skirt fabric.

A lovely scottish kilt by Moffat Weavers. To fit waist 76 cm or 30 inches. The waist is adjustable with velcro and a leather strap and buckle, there is another strap and buckle 6 inches below the waistband, along the front edge of the wrap around kilt. The front edge has a small fringe. The fabric is pure new wool, dry clean only. The back is pleated and the front is plain. Lovely mid blue and tan checks

Really pretty and ladylike pale blue blouse. The label reads "100% pure silk brand". Feels slinky and silky, but I think the fabric is polyester. Features covered buttons, front and sleeve embroidery, scalloped edges on the collar, neckline and sleeves, and 3 1/4 inch ( 8 cm) splits at the bottoms of the side seams. Size 36 inch bust. The actual measurement around at the underarms is 40 inches (102 cm). The center back length is 25 inches (64 cm).
Excellent condition, looks unworn.

A lovely handsewn top, made in the safari style, but in a gorgeous watermelon colour with floral transfers, making it hippie/boho and totally unique. Patch pockets, the body of the garment is gathered onto a yoke, and there are lovely pearl buttons. One of a kind. Wear this as a top or as a jacket open over a cami top. The bust measurement is 98 cm(38 1/4 inches) and the side seam measures 49 cm (19 inches). This is meant to fit loosely. The fabric is a knitted synthetic, and it is beautifully made. A couple of minor irregularities in the fabric are all the faults I can find.

Lovely classic 60's cocktail dress with quite a modest fitted bodice and full skirt. The straps are 3 shoestring satin straps on each shoulder. There is a feature of a rolled strip of the same fabric at the waistline. Very full gathered skirt. The lining is firm blue/grey synthetic lining material. The overlay is sheer silk chiffon.
Measurements are
Bust 31 inches (79 cm)
Waist 23 3/4 inches (61 cm)
Hips - free.
length of skirt from waist 24inches (62 cm).
The garment is in very good condition, the only flaw that I can find is that the top of the zipper in the centre back has been mended carefully, and the loop for the hook and loop has been resewn carefully.

A great black mid-calf skirt from the 80's in butter-soft leather. Made in Australia by "Skins and Things". The skirt is gathered onto the waistband, and has 7 gores or panels. Each of these panels is in 2 parts, with a topstitched seam joining the top and bottom of each panel. The skirt has 2 pockets in the front, which sit out a little from the skirt. They are quite deep. The rear closure is a silver coloured metal zipper ( a good quality one made by YKK) and a snap fastener. The skirt is fully lined in dark grey synthetic silky lining fabric. The measurements are Waist - 28 inches (71 cm) Length at centre back - 33 1/2 inches (86 cm) Sweep - 84 inches (214 cm).This fantastic garment is in excellent condition.
