This drop waisted dress in pure Australian cotton was made in Australia. It is a fine gingham is a sludgy dark green and white, with some wash fade. It fastens with buttons down the back of the bodise. The bronze coloured plastic buttons feature a daisy pattern. The drop waist is trimmed with a horizontal band, which is only attached at the top. The skirt is pleated.You'll feel cool, comfortable, and just a bit like a naughty little girl in this one.No flaws apart from the little bit of fade.Bust measures 40 inches (102 cm). waist is free, hips are also 40 inches. Made in hong Kong, especially for David Jones, the prestigious Australian department store. Pure new wool. Size large. Navy and white houndstooth (the signature David Jones pattern) with navy roll collar and cuffs. The only fault that I can find with this beauty is that there is a mended moth hole in the roll collar, visible in the photo, easily made invisible. The price is reduced accordingly. Measures 42 inches around at the armpits, the sleeve seam measure 22 inches from the armpit to the cuff, the center back measurement is 27 inches from the nape of the neck to the hem. The roll collar is 6 1/2 inches deep, so it can be rolled once or twice, depending on how high you want it.Great unisex jumper. They are, I think, from the 80's, due to the inverted "v" draped  waistband, very flattering. The bottoms of the legs are tulip shaped, that is the side seam is not sewn right to the hem, but the curves up a little (.
