Sheer nylon overskirt at the front only. Double layered sheer nylon ruffle on the hem, collar and edge of the bodice. The collar (which is present at the front of the bodice only) features floral embroidery. The same floral embroidery is featured on the generous centre panel. There is a white ribbon at the centre front. The garment has had minimal wear, and the only fault that I can find is that there are a few picks on the nylon overskirt. The size is SSW, the bust measurement around at the underarms is 37 inches (94 cm). The length of the side seam is 35 1/2 inches (91 cm ). Round neckline, piping at the empire waistline, ruffled lace at the neckline, down both sides of the front and back, and on the tulip sleeves. The lace has satin ribbon threaded through the centre panel, and there are bows at the base of the lace strips on the front and back of the gown. The lace is lovely and soft,not scratchy. There is a bow of the same ribbon with long ends,at the centre front. The rear closure is a nylon zipper with a hook and eye at the neckline. The lining fabric is a heavy cream coloured synthetic. The actual measurements of the garment are bust (around at underarms) 40 inches, waistline (12 inches from shoulder) 33 inches, side seam (from underarm to hem) 47 inches, meausurement around the bottom of the hem 74 inches.I can only find one fault with this beautiful dress, there is a tiny pull down near the hem at the left front. No maker's label, so I think a dressmaker has made it specially, perhaps even a family member, it has the most gorgeous personal detail, a tiny blue ribbon bow stitched onto the inside of the neckline at the front, for "something blue", a mother's or grandmother's touch perhaps. No size on it of course, but it fits my dressmakers form well and she is bust 33/12 inches waist 24 1/2 inches. hips 37 1/2 inches.The length from shoulder to hem (front is 54 inches (138 cm).The bodice and the sleeves to the elbows are heavy cotton lace with a daisy pattern, the diasy pattern also trims the neckline, empire waistline edges of the bell sleeves, and the hem is trimmed with more of the lace, in inverted "v's". The bells of the bell sleeves and the skirt of the gown are made from a semi sheer, slightly shiny synthetic, heavy chiffon.  At the back the skirt continues, so that it form the train. The gown is fully lined in heavy synthetic lining fabric. The closure is a rear plastic zipper and hooks and loops.
