This lovely slip is made from pale coral-coloured nylon overlaid with rich coral-coloured chiffon, which is appliqued with floral lace. The waist measurement is minimum 59 cm (23 inches ) and maximum 81 cm (32 inches). The number 26 is on the label, so presumably this is the waist size.The maximum hip measurement is 90 cm (35 1/4 inches).The length is 66 cm (26 inches). This exquisite garment is in excellent condition, with the only flaw I can find being a couple of frayed stitches on the inside of the waist, not visible during wear.

Hard to find larger size slip in a size 24. The label states that it fits bust 115 cm (45 inches), waist 95 cm (37 1/4 inches), hips 120 cm (47 inches). The straps are adjustable satin ribbon, the tops of the cups and the hem are trimmed with 3 1/2 cm (1 1/2 inch) wide black lace. Faultless apart from a manufacturing defect, where the tops of the seams are misaligned by 1 cm (1/3 inch) on the right hand side of the garment.

Made in the USA by kustom-fit, this lovely grment has a double layer of fabric in the front and a single layer in the back. The applique is very slightly darker than the garment, and is made of satin and machine embroidery. The hemline is trimmed with very fine lace and a double layer of sheer chiffon 2 1/2 cm ( 1  inch) wide.The measurements are waist minimum 47 cm (18 1/4 inches), maximum 78 cm (30 1/2 inches), hips maximum 94 cm (36 3/4 inches), length 54 cm (21 (1/4 inches). I can't find any faults in this garment, other than slight stretch in the top layer on the front.

Divine but unfortunately well worn slip. The cups are made from gathered sheer mesh, as is the 11 cm (4 1/4 inch) frill at the hemline. Fine 1 1/2 cm (1/2 inch) white geometric patterned lace along the top of the bodice, bottom of the cups, above and edging the hemline frill.The adjustable straps are pink satin ribbon. The underbust measurement is 68 cm 26 1/2 inches), and the lenghth from underarm to hem is 92 cm (36 inches).
This garment has seen a lot of wear and has some faults. They are
-most of the paint has worn off the metal strap adjusters
-the top 1/2 cm (1/6 inch) of the lace has frayed away from the seam at the left side underarm
-there are some tiny holes and pulls or picks in the mesh of the cups
-there are quite a number of tiny pulls in the nylon fabric of the skirt of the garment especially on the left side possibly where a handbag rubbed
-there a a large number of tiny picks or pulls in the mesh of the frill at the hemline.
Still a beautiful garment, I haven't seen one quite like it before. Bargain price.

Beautifully simple styling, Black nylon slip, with a 14 cm (5 1/2 inch) bodice made from sheer lace, the hem is trimmed with a 2 cm (3/4 inch) strip of lace and there is a 13 cm (5 inch) rear split edged with fine 1 cm (1/3 inch) lace. Black satin ribbon adjustable straps.Made in the USA. No manufacturer's name on the label . The underarm measurement is 84 cm (34 inches) and the armpit to hem length is 84 cm (33 inches). No faults that I can find.

A very nice 60's half slip with an unusual floral pattern in deep pink, yellow and green from USA department store Bloomingdales. Pretty slightly ruffled 4 cm(1 1/2 inch) lace trim at the hemline. Very good condition. The size label is missing, but the waist meaurement unstretched is 62 cm (25 inches), stretching to 89 cm (35 inches) which is also the hip measurement. The length is 64 cm (25 inches).

This is a lovely nylon half slip from the 50's. Very feminine and glamorous. It is 100% nylon tricot and was made by Florelee. It is marked a size M. Printed cloth label. The waist band is 24 ¼ inches (62 cm) unstretched and stretches to 36 ¾ inches (94 cm), which is also the maximum hip. The side seam measures 27 ½ inches (70 cm). This gorgeous garment features a plain nylon underskirt and a nylon chiffon overskirt. The overskirt has a deep ruffle at the hem (6 ½ inches or 17 cm) which is trimmed top and bottom with fine lace. There is a floral lace applique in shades of white , green and pink, at the top of the ruffle at the left front. There are a couple of minor faults to point out. The elastic waistband is a little overstretched but still has a lot of life left in it. There are some minor scattered picks in the chiffon overskirt.

A truly delightful yellow shorter length slip made in the USA by Kayser. Mid to late 60's I would say. A divine lemon shade. The slip is 100% nylon. It is marked a size 34 on the printed cloth label. The measurement around under the bust is 31 inches (79 cm). The side seam measures 28 inches (71 cm). Exquisite styling. The cups are gatnered at the base and trimmed with floral lace along the tops. The entire top of the garment is trimmed with a 1 inch(2 1/2 cm) wide double layered strip of chiffon, this crosses over at the centre front.
The same chiffon trims the hemlin, seperated from the garment by a very fine strip of lace. There is a lace flower at the hem at the left front. The adjustable straps are satin ribbon. The bodice joins the garment with a v-shape at the back and an inverted v at the front. This garment is in excellent condition and the only fault that I can find is that there is a tiny bit of paint worn off the metal strap adjusters. Postage is FREE worldwide

This one's a bit differnt. A beautiful pale green trimmed with pink, green and white lace. Made by Donnina, the style is "Biancheria". Very simple pricess seamed styling, with darts at the bust. "V" neckline at both front and back.The bust measurement is 36 inches (92 cm) at the underarms. The side seam measures 29 inches (74 cm).
One fault to mention, the lace has been mended at the centre back, and dips down at the centre instead of being flush.

Famous Osti of Australia quality. New with tags. This is a gorgeous pale pink slip with the original tag still attached. It is a size 36, the measurement unset the bust is 34 inches (87 cm). The side seam measures 29 1/2 inches (75 cm).Beautiful tyling. The cups are gathered at the lower edges. They each feature an embroidered flower and leaf motif. The top of the bodice is trimmed all the way around with very fine lace. The same lace trims the scalloped hemline. The flower and leaf motif is embroidered at the hemline on each side, in the middle is a larger motif of flowers, leaves and bows. The adjustable strapsare made of nylon ribbon, with plastic hardware.

I'm not sure whether this is a slip or nightgown. It looks 30's or 40's to me but I can't be sure. The printed fabric label reads "Griffinette all rayon 16". The measurement at the bust under the arms is 30 inches (77 cm), the side measurement is 33 inches (85 cm).This is a special garment with lovely elegant styling. The fabric is white satin rayon. There are spaghetti straps. The tops of the cups are decorated with 1 1/4 inch bands of delustred fabric which is finely accordian pleated. There is a keyhole opening at the centre of the top of the cups, trimmed with bias binding  which extends along the tops of the cups. There is a 7 inch (18 cm) bias strip attached at the centre front which could be tied in a small bow if desired. The cups are gathered and form an inverted"v" where they attach to the main body of the garment. The skirt is bias cut, in one piece. The hemline is simply trimmed with a 2 inch (6 cm) fold of fabric. Just a couple of little faults, I hav removed a small stain from the accordian trim on the right cup, there is a tiny vestige of it remaining, barely noticeable. I also removed a stain from the main body of the garment, but there is no trace of that. The bodice has been taken in and let out again and the stitch matks remain. There is a small hole at the attachment of the bodice and the main body of the garment on the side seam, probably related to the unpicking.

a sweet salmon pink mini length half slip from Julie Lingerie. The size is SSW. This divine little item has scalloped cream coloured lace edging the hemline, and an applique of floral cream coloured lace down the left front. The waist measurement is 22 3/4 inches (58 cm) unstretched and stretches to 34 1/2 inches  (88 cm ). The maximum hip measurement is 38 1/2 inches  (98 cm). The side seam measures 17 3/4 inches (45 cm).
A couple of faults to mention
-there are some scattered picks and pilling.
Some of the stitching on the elastic casing has frayed, the casing remains firm because there are two rows of stitching.

A lovely simple black slip by Lucas Vanity Fair. Size 16, so possibly made for the Australian market. The label is woven cloth with blue embroidery. There is simple embroidered black fabric appliqued onto the hem and the top of the bodice. The straps are adjustable satin ribbon. The hardware is metal. Lovely simple styling, with the front of the bodice gathered at it's bottom edge. Inverted V seaming joining the bodice to the skirt at it's bottom edge. The measurement around under the bust is 32 inches (82 cm). The length is the side seam is 33 1/2 inches (86 cm). There is one fault with this garment ( a small one), it has been taken up, and I havetaken it back down again, so there is a fold line which will eventually come out.
