A nice example of a simple vintage slip from the 60's that has been tied dyed in pink and purple. Nylon lace trim on the cups and hemline, nylon ribbon adjustable straps, one of which is twisted (a manufacturing fault). Made in Australia to fit bust 100 cm, waist 80 cm and hips 105 cm. The length of the side seam is 77 cm. This garment will need to be washed separately from other garments because the colour could run. Postage is free worldwide.

A really lovely and simple short black slip made in Great Britain by Kayser. To fit a 34 inch bust (87 cm). The side seam length is 27 inches  (69 cm). Made from a densely woven synthetic, probably nylon, that rustles when it moves, how feminine, the trim is a simple lace edging top and bottom, the straps a adjustable fine satin ribbon. Flawless, apart from the ribbon on one strap being twisted. Sorry about the terrible photos, there is no stretch, so it won't fit my mannequin! Postage is free worldwide.

beautiful, simple and elegant white slip in three types of fabric. The skirt is made from a firmly woven nylon, the bodice, a softer nylon, and the trim sheer nylon. The adjustable straps are fine satin ribbon. The bust measurement is 34 inches (87 cm) , underbust is 32 inches (82 cm),side seam is 28 inches (72 cm). The cloth label has faded and is illegible.  In very good condition with a tiny fault, the trim which edges the top of the nylon bodice, joining the sheer nylon edging has come unstitched near the side seam (see photo). Very nice black slip from the 60's. The bodice sis sheer lace, front and back, very simple styling, like a singlet top. Slinky nylon body. Unusual hem, a frill made of what looks like cotton bias binding edged with the same lace as the bodice. Adorable. The bust measuremant around at the underarms is 33 inches (84 cm), the length of the side seam from underarm to hem is 34 inches (87 cm). The label is too faded to read, but the nylon feels like good quality. There is a tiny, tiny amount of pilling on the lace, insignificant but needs to be mentioned.

This is a cutie. late 60's i think. White pinstriped nylon, with broderie anglaise style embroidery on the top of the cups and the hem.Fine lace down the sides of the cups and across the top of the back.  Adjustable nylon ribbon straps. The bust measurement is 96 cm (38 inches) and the side seam from the underarm to the hem is 67 cm (26 1/4 inches). No faults that I can find.

Lovely black slip from vanity fair. 60's i would say. Nice satin ribbon adjustable straps, sheer lace at the top of the bodice and hem. Very slinky feeling nylon fabric. No faults that I can find. The bust measures 104 cm (40 1/2 inches), the length from underarm to hem is 88 cm (34 1/2 inches). Not great photos I'm afraid, the slip is too big for my dummy.

The underbust measurement is 34 inches (87 cm) , will fit a bust measurement of 36-38 inches (92 - 97 cm) the side seam length is 31 1/2 inches (80 cm). Gorgeous detailing, lace trim around the top of the bodice, concertina pleated nylon covering the cups, lace trim at the hemline underlayed with more sheer concertina pleated nylon. New old stock, without tag. Made by Frason Lingerie. Size 40. Nylon acetate. Singlet style bodice with lace overlay. Floral emblem at the center front. The bodice is gathered at the base.The hemline is trimmed with lace and a 4 3/4 inch (13 cm) deep sunray pleated frill.
The measurement around the bodice at the underarms is 40 inches (102 cm). The length of the side seam is 33 inches (85 cm).
There is a manufacturing flaw, a loop of thread on the right side of the garment at the bodice where it joins the main part of the garment, there are no other faults that I can find.

A very sweet and lovely pale pink slip from St Mark. The bodice is plain nylon covered with sheer hailspot nylon and trimmed with lace and a double layer of sheer nylon. There is a panel of lace under the bodice. The top of the back is trimmed the same as the top of the front.The straps are pale pink nylon ribbon, they are not adjustable. The hemline is really gorgeous, a lace panel, then a panel of sheer hailspot nylon, then another lace panel, then a panel of sheer nylon, then a wider panel of sheer nylon with emboridered edging.
The size on the label is "W". The measurement around under the bust is 30 inches ((77 cm). The side seam measures 39 inches (100cm).
Some faults with this lovely slip
-I have removed some pilling, and may have missed some
-there are some small picks here and there
-there is a fault in the fabric at the center back near the hem, 4 little lines where the fabric is woven differently.

A lovely simple white nylon slip from the 60's Shaped and gathered cups with lace and a double layer of sheer nylon trimming them. The hem features the same trimSweet little rose and leaves embroidered motif at the centre of the cups. The back is plain. Adjustable ribbon straps. There is slight wear to the straps where they have been adjusted. No other faults that I can find. The label simply reads "Bri-nylon OS". The measurement around under the bust is 35 inches 89 cm). A really gorgeous slip by Australian label Osti. Size 36. Quite an unusual design. Pink nylon slip with lace trim on the centre panel and cups. On the centre panel the lace is between the nylon of the garment and a panel of sheer nylon. The lace on the top of cups and on the hem is betwen a double layer of sheer nylon. The straps are pale pink nylon ribbon and they are not adjustable.
The back is plain, but has a strip of double layered sheer nylon at the top. Just beautiful. New without tags. The measurement under the bust  is 31 inches (79 cm). The length of the side seam is 31 inches (79 cm).

The front of the bodice is beautiful sheer lace. There is a 61/2 inch (16cm) wide strip of the same lace edging the hem. The hem is scalloped. The straps are made from nylon ribbon. A delightful 100% swiss cotton lawn bias cut half slip from the 60's, featuring an adorable rosebud applique near the hem. Made by "Ginia", size 18. The waistband measures 70 cm (27 1/2 inches) unstretched and stretches to 101 1/2 cm (40 inches). The hips measurement 23 cm (9 inches) down from the waistband is 108 cm (42 1/2 inches). The side seam is 69 cm (27 inches). The hemline is trimmed with a 2 1/2 cm (1 inch) wide floral lace, lovely and soft.

a sweet salmon pink mini length half slip from Julie Lingerie. The size is SSW. This divine little item has scalloped cream coloured lace edging the hemline, and an applique of floral cream coloured lace down the left front. The waist measurement is 22 3/4 inches (58 cm) unstretched and stretches to 34 1/2 inches  (88 cm ). The maximum hip measurement is 38 1/2 inches  (98 cm). The side seam measures 17 3/4 inches (45 cm).
A couple of faults to mention
-there are some scattered picks and pilling.
Some of the stitching on the elastic casing has frayed, the casing remains firm because there are two rows of stitching.

Famous Osti of Australia quality. New with tags. This is a gorgeous pale pink slip with the original tag still attached. It is a size 36, the measurement unset the bust is 34 inches (87 cm). The side seam measures 29 1/2 inches (75 cm).Beautiful tyling. The cups are gathered at the lower edges. They each feature an embroidered flower and leaf motif. The top of the bodice is trimmed all the way around with very fine lace. The same lace trims the scalloped hemline. The flower and leaf motif is embroidered at the hemline on each side, in the middle is a larger motif of flowers, leaves and bows. The adjustable strapsare made of nylon ribbon, with plastic hardware.

A very nice 60's half slip with an unusual floral pattern in deep pink, yellow and green from USA department store Bloomingdales. Pretty slightly ruffled 4 cm(1 1/2 inch) lace trim at the hemline. Very good condition. The size label is missing, but the waist meaurement unstretched is 62 cm (25 inches), stretching to 89 cm (35 inches) which is also the hip measurement. The length is 64 cm (25 inches).

Made in the USA by kustom-fit, this lovely garment has a double layer of fabric in the front and a single layer in the back. The applique is very slightly darker than the garment, and is made of satin and machine embroidery. The hemline is trimmed with very fine lace and a double layer of sheer chiffon 2 1/2 cm ( 1  inch) wide.The measurements are waist minimum 47 cm (18 1/4 inches), maximum 78 cm (30 1/2 inches), hips maximum 94 cm (36 3/4 inches), length 54 cm (21 (1/4 inches). I can't find any faults in this garment, other than slight stretch in the top layer on the front.
